Homemade Christmas Wrapping Paper When our family was young we "printed" our own Christmas wrapping paper as well as Christmas cards. We cut Christmas themed shapes out of sponges, dipped them in paint, and stamped them on a roll of paper. Now that there is again a young member of the family, Our daughter Betsy decided to revive that tradition. Last night in our dinning room great-granddaughter Elaina, Mom Katie, Nana Betsy, great-aunt Maura, and GiGi (great-grandmother) Mary cut sponges and printed Santa hats, stockings, snowmen, and such in our dining room, the venue of printings past.
