  Crab in Pale Crab in Pale , like Duet a few days go, a 8 x 6 inch painting.

  Duet Bluebirds   Recently I posted   Flamingo: A Study in Pale, https://rmw-ramblings.blogspot.com/2023/07/flamingo-study-in-pale.html.  I've now painted another experiment in pale color, Duet, much smaller, 6 X 8 inches.    

PS duPont High School       P. S. duPont High School  In 2005 I did this 24 x 18 inch watercolor painting as a door prize for our high school class 50th reunion.  The montage of photographs is totally fictional.    

  Flamingo A Study in Pale We don't often see flamingos on the Chesapeake.  Well, never.  But this one offered an opportunity for a painting in pale color.  Acrylic on canvas with a touch of blue pencil.

  Hermerocallis   This thrift store frame had a matted picture of George Washington. I painted "Hermerocallis" to frame with or without the salvaged double mats. Which?
